CAITLiN O'rYan

Caitlin O’Ryan is a British poet and actress whose spoken word performances blend emotional precision with lyrical force. Originally from Manchester with Irish roots, Caitlin brings a sharp observational style and magnetic stage presence to poetry that resonates across generations. Since stepping into the spoken word scene in 2022, Caitlin has headlined a range of acclaimed events across London, including SpitNights, Groove Verse, Poet’s Palace, VERSES x Roundhouse, and Voices in Power. Her work explores themes of identity, heartbreak, healing, and humour—always delivered with disarming honesty and a distinctive voice. She is currently preparing to launch her debut poetry collection, At What Point?, as part of the Edinburgh International Book Festival. Alongside her poetry, Caitlin is widely known for her role as Lizzie Wemyss in the international hit series Outlander (STARZ), in which she returns for the final season.  Caitlin hosts the podcast Have You Got Your Sh*t Together?, where she speaks candidly with fellow artists about creativity and chaos, and continues to build an engaged audience online through her poetic work.
