

KATe irELanD
Kate Ireland is a Glaswegian spoken word artist based in Manchester. Her work has been featured at the Roundhouse, BB6 and Glastonbury Festival. Her one woman show Golden Time (and other behavioural management strategies) will make its Edinburgh Fringe debut in August this year. Kate has headlined venues across the UK aswell as supported the likes of Leyla Josephine, Harry Baker and Antony Szmierek on their UK tour dates. In 2024 Kate put out her debut electronic spoken word album Self Regulating Behaviours in collaboration with DJ and producer Losssy. Aside from running writing courses and neuroinclusivity workshops in schools, prisons, and mental health units, Kate also runs a community storytelling events collective called Blether, which hosts regular workshops and gatherings in Manchester. Kate’s first full length poetry collection will be released with Burning Eye in Spring 2026.
